We use pure cane sugar in Heartbreak Healer because it offers a clean, natural sweetness that enhances the complex flavors of our botanicals without overshadowing them. It also doesn’t leave an aftertaste like some artificial or alternative sweeteners, and we did a survey of people avoiding stevia and it felt appropriate to leave those out in this formula.
